HELLO !!!

The album is out ! I was so excited  to buy it on itunes that I made a mistake and bought it twice ! Haha !

I am listing to it now and I must tell you it is much better than the previews ! I mean really !!!! <3

Announcement

Hi , everyone !

I want only to warn you that until the 3rd of March I will be really busy , so updates might come a little later .
I have finall exam on the 1st and I am travelling on the 2nd . After that I will be free and back with more updates from the BIGSHOW and news about the new album . ^^

You can imagine how I will feel on the 29th with the album realise when I am having my final project submission the next day ... it seems YG and my professor are plotting against me , hahah

If there is some important update about the tour in this next week I will post it for sure , but photos and news from the BIGSHOW will all come on the 2-3rd of March !

Tour Update

Here is an interview (link)  with Live Nation's Mats Brandt, President of Live Nation Far East .
He talks about kpop , BIGBANG and the organization of ALIVE WORLD TOUR . 


Mats Brandt identifies BIGBANG as the kpop group who has " the greatest potential to do not just a few performances, but a world tour that covered the globe" and also says that because of " members' " impressive talent that we decided that they were the most fit to be a global artist" .




No tour details are yet revealed , but it seems that YG and Live Nation , working together as a team , are preparing something with a real international scope .

2. KISS - Prince 


Prince voice is for sure one to be always recognized . You have to love this song, right ? It is just so addictive actually .

Since Prince doesn't want his music on youtube so it was difficult to find some better version than this .

4. Don't Stop me Now - Queen 

I love Queen since I was very young. They have so many songs that have turned into a classic. This song in particular is very mood lifting! Put the volume up and sing along !

Another song of Cho Youn Pil :) You can see that he is indeed very loved and  influential artist in Korea . A classic . 바람의 노래  is again a very pleasant song . This artist puts a lot of emotion in his music , I start to really like him .

( at the time they broke up )

It was obvious how happy Seungri was to meet Katy Perry last year . Now she should remember him when she sees VIP mentioning him under her video hahah . Anyway … This song is so ….well colorful ! I am sure you all know it , so there is no need for me too say much … ( you must search for this song's parody ! it is quite funny )

Party , baby ! Wow ! hahah , yes this is such a party song and it's cool ! Tra-la-la , la-la ! It is very catchy !

Here he is ! Jistin Timberlake . Ok , I cannot be a hypocrite so I have to say I really dislike him ! haha , this is a personal thing , no offence . I admit he is very talented and I like songs as Cry me a river and Sexy back but him personaly I don’t like …Therefore I wouldn’t be listening to this song if it wasn’t for Seungri , cause I usually don't go to search for Jistin's music , unless is on the radio/tv . The song is pleasant though , and I guess it could be likeable for many .

5. Try (밑바닥에서) - Tablo (타블로) feat. Bumkey

Ok , I didn’t expect that . We all know that Tablo is YG artist now , but still I wouldn't think that Seungri would put him in his playlist ! Respect , man !

I remember TOP said he was listening to this song before in an interview. Thumbs up for TOP !  NIN ( Nine Inch Nails ) is a particular band .  I personally like them but I have met   people who think NIN are strange , people who love them and  people who simple dislike them . I think depending on which of their songs you happen to hear you might get different impressions. NIN has experimented with many styles .  La Mer , for example  has a lot of electronic sound but  I think you would like it and if you do, give a chance to also other  another NIN’s song …

5. Hot One – Shudder to Think 

Again change of style but we have pretty good song .
 First I though I don’t know that song but than I realized it is from Velvet Goldmine OST!  I had this before but it got lost when my old PC died, so I had forgotten about it  ( shame on me ). For me this is “making me feel good “ song .  (I need to get hold of that OST again ! )

Here comes Daesung’s playlist ! 

The songs are very nice, some of them a little sad, but all have a lot of feeling in them, also very good vocals. I’ve heard most of them for the first time, so thanks Daesung for introducing me some new music.

5. Yoo Jae Ha - You In My Arms

Another very influential Korean singer . Sadly he has only one album - Because I Love [사랑하기 때문에] (1987) . After that he tragically dies in a car accident at the age of 25. 

Even he had a short life , he left a lasting impression. In the blog ( the link below )  it says that “Only two years after his death, his family and colleagues established a foundation that held a yearly pop music competition that awarded scholarship to singer-songwriters. Yoo Jae-Ha Music Festival still goes on today; its past winners include influential K-pop artists like Yoo Hee-Yeol [유희열] and Cho Gyu-Chan [조규찬].”

This song is actually so ... cute ! haha . Can I use this word for it ? I mean it is fresh and nice song . ( did you recognise the bassist from Fall Out Boys in the video ? BigBang in New York

BigBang are currently in New York for the filming of their new video .

Some lucky fans in NY managed to get to see BigBang at the airport .

Seungri is reported to be a little bit ill ( poor Seungri , I hope he gets well soon ) , so almost no one saw him , cause he is in "hiding" mode .

Actually all of them are in "hiding mode" but we can see that Daesung is now blond !

YG Entertainment and Live Nation proudly announce the BIGBANG ALIVE TOUR 2012

On 2 March 2012, the BIGBANG world tour will kick-start at the Olympic Gymnastics Hall in Seoul, Korea with three consecutive sold out dates. BIGBANG is then set to take their tour to Asia, North and South America, and Europe, performing in 25 cities in 16 countries.

BIGBANG is the first Asian band to receive the “Worldwide Act” Award at the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards, and these chart-topping K-pop heroes are looking forward to meeting their fans during their first ever world tour.

ALIVE TOUR 2012 is presented by leading international live entertainment company, Live Nation Entertainment, and the shows are expected to be an extraordinary spectacle in terms of production size and creative direction.

Live Nation has organized global tours for international renowned artists such as Madonna, Lady Gaga and U2, and the company has recently participated in promotional activities for K-pop artists in the United States and Europe. BIGBANG is the first world tour for an Asian artist that Live Nation will have produced and promoted..  

President of Live Nation International and Emerging Markets, Alan Ridgeway said, “We are very excited to be working with YG Entertainment and BIGBANG to bring this tour to K-pop fans around the world.  This represents a great start for our Korean operation that we only launched in December and we look forward to helping spread the K-pop phenomenon.”

Internationally-renowned director, Laurieann Gibson, has joined the world tour as the creative director. Laurieann is also known as a top director, choreographer and actress. She has recently directed Lady Gaga’s “The Monster Ball Tour”, and was the choreographer/Director for her music videos such as ‘You and I’, ‘Poker Face’, ‘Judas’, and ‘Telephone’. In the past, Laurieann has also worked with other stellar artists such as Shakira, Janet Jackson, Beyoncé, and Katy Perry.

BIGBANG ALIVE TOUR 2012 will also be supported by a leading production team, including; stage and lighting designer Leroy Bennett (Madonna, Paul McCartney, Eagles), sound engineer Ken Van Druten (Eminem, Jay-Z, Linkin Park), and visual content producer Possible Productions (Kanye West, Jay-Z, Eminem).

YG Entertainment is preparing to present the best concert possible for the BIGBANG fans from all around the world that have been waiting to see the band perform live for the first time.

This upcoming world tour that will start off with the release of BIGBANG’s new album, which will be presenting the boys in a more mature light.

BIGBANG will be releasing their fifth mini-album, [Alive], on 29 February 2012, representing their grand comeback to the music scene.

I have been to a few concert , organized by Live Nation and I can say that this is a really good company , so I hope everything goes smoothly with the concert organization .

As you see , there are a lot of internationally acknowledged people to work with BigBang on this tour , so we can expect something quite impressive :)

I only hope that no one tires to “westernize” the group , just because they are going on a world tour . I want to see their famous swag in its pure form , hahah !

Anyway , I believe in them and I sure they will not disappoint us !

I am so exited about the World Tour that I decided to make a blog about this event . I have always wanted to do it for other artist and tours but never had the time , so I will do it now , followimg my impulses ! 

I will be posting info about the tour , also some impressions , photos and videos from it . 

I have to go to meet my study group now but I will be back tonight to fix the layout of the blog !
