Taeyang always share some nice titles with us , isn’t he ? 

Most of the artist is his playlist are big names , so probably  you know them , but I will add some info here and there . 

1. Cho Young Pil - The Dreams 

Do you remember this song ? It is the same as in Daesung playlist ! This time I found the translation of the song’s lyrics . ( read them after the video ) . This song will definitely get a lot of international attention now and I think it deserves it . ^^

Cho Young Pil is a Korean singer , born in 1950. He is considered to be one of  most influential figures in Korean pop music . 2. KISS - Prince 


Prince voice is for sure one to be always recognized . You have to love this song, right ? It is just so addictive actually .

Since Prince doesn't want his music on youtube so it was difficult to find some better version than this .

3.Speechless - Michael Jackson

Speechless a song from the MJ’s album Invincible. What can I say about Michel Jackson ? This man was and will remain one of the biggest stars of pop music. His songs had inspired many people and follow artist before and I am sure that will keep inspiring the new generation. I don’t want to say any other cheesy thing, so simple enjoy the song.  

4. Don't Stop me Now - Queen 

I love Queen since I was very young. They have so many songs that have turned into a classic. This song in particular is very mood lifting! Put the volume up and sing along !

5.Cho Yong Pil - 바람의 노래 (Song of the Wind ) 

Another song of Cho Youn Pil :) You can see that he is indeed very loved and  influential artist in Korea . A classic . 바람의 노래  is again a very pleasant song . This artist puts a lot of emotion in his music , I start to really like him .

Here is Seungri playlist !

Most of the songs in his playlist are well-known so I don’t need to introduce them too much  : ) . 

This is soooo Seungri playlist ! I don't say that only because I know he likes Jistin Timberlake or Katy Perry as he has mentioned before , but the music just so "feels" and "sounds" like Seungri somehow ^^ . 

Btw , you must have already noticed how many VIPs have written under the videos of the songs in the BIGBANG’s playlist! Britney fans, I am sure, will be especially happy to hear about BIGBANG again ;) !  In any case , please, don’t speak against Britney or make fun of her under her videos , just because we won  the EMA . Just enjoy the music !

I liked Britney before and I even if now I am not such a big fan I still really like this song . It is very gentle song .  ( Of course I like the video as well ... it might be dramatic and sad , but there is Stephen Dorf in it ! :)  ) Btw , I read somewhere ( Idk , if it is true ) that this song is based on Britney's real life and it comes as a response to Jistin's Cry me a River . ( at the time they broke up ) 

 2.California Gurls - Katy Perry 


It was obvious how happy Seungri was to meet Katy Perry last year . Now she should remember him when she sees VIP mentioning him under her video hahah . Anyway … This song is so ….well colorful ! I am sure you all know it , so there is no need for me too say much … ( you must search for this song's parody ! it is quite funny )

3 . LIVIN'My Love - LMFAO . Steve Aoki 


Party , baby ! Wow ! hahah , yes this is such a party song and it's cool ! Tra-la-la , la-la ! It is very catchy !

4 .Why When How - Justin Timberlake


Here he is ! Jistin Timberlake . Ok , I cannot be a hypocrite so I have to say I really dislike him ! haha , this is a personal thing , no offence . I admit he is very talented and I like songs as Cry me a river and Sexy back but him personaly I don’t like …Therefore I wouldn’t be listening to this song if it wasn’t for Seungri , cause I usually don't go to search for Jistin's music , unless is on the radio/tv . The song is pleasant though , and I guess it could be likeable for many .

5. Try (밑바닥에서) - Tablo (타블로) feat. Bumkey

Ok , I didn’t expect that . We all know that Tablo is YG artist now , but still I wouldn't think that Seungri would put him in his playlist ! Respect , man !

I recently discovered Tablo and he is a very interesting person and artist for me.  I am now planning to even read his book . If you haven’t yet listened to his album, do it soon! There is more that “Tomorrow “to heard

1. La Mer – Nine Inch Nails 


I remember TOP said he was listening to this song before in an interview. Thumbs up for TOP !  NIN ( Nine Inch Nails ) is a particular band .  I personally like them but I have met   people who think NIN are strange , people who love them and  people who simple dislike them . I think depending on which of their songs you happen to hear you might get different impressions. NIN has experimented with many styles .  La Mer , for example  has a lot of electronic sound but  I think you would like it and if you do, give a chance to also other  another NIN’s song …

2. Piano Man – Billy Joel 

This is very nice song! I should really get to listen to more of Billy Joel. This song can take you back to “old times” America. The melody  brings pleasant feeling and …. I love harmonica ! Classic song . ^^  Enjoy  !

3. November Rain – Guns N’Roses 

This is a classic . What more can I say about this song . It always remains me of one of my best friends , whose sister was a big Guns N’Roses fan and thanks to her we found ourselves listening to this in elementary school , when all other music around us was BSB and Spice Girls ( yes , we listened to that as well... )

This is a very cool club song in my oppiniom . Great beat!  ( I totally prefer this over the Beyonce version "Run the World (Girls)" … it is just personal preference , no offence ,  Beyonce !)  Major Lazer is is a collaborative musical project from DJ/Producers Diplo and Switch.( yes the same Diplo who is responsible for GD&TOP’s Knock Out  )

5. Hot One – Shudder to Think 

Again change of style but we have pretty good song .
 First I though I don’t know that song but than I realized it is from Velvet Goldmine OST!  I had this before but it got lost when my old PC died, so I had forgotten about it  ( shame on me ). For me this is “making me feel good “ song .  (I need to get hold of that OST again ! )

INFO Shudder to Think is an American indie rock group , formed in 1986.The band experiment with many music styles , including pop and post-hardcore .

Here comes Daesung’s playlist ! 

The songs are very nice, some of them a little sad, but all have a lot of feeling in them, also very good vocals. I’ve heard most of them for the first time, so thanks Daesung for introducing me some new music. 

It is a little difficult to gather information about these artists, since most of it is in Korean, but I will tell what I found . If you know more, please share.  In any case you can just past the singers’ name in youtube and listen to more of their songs.

Daesung playlist can make you listen to some  Korean artists that are not so widely known outside of Korean and to discover some really nice songs – so take this chance to learn even more about the Korean music ^.^

5. Yoo Jae Ha - You In My Arms

Another very influential Korean singer . Sadly he has only one album - Because I Love [사랑하기 때문에] (1987) . After that he tragically dies in a car accident at the age of 25. 

Even he had a short life , he left a lasting impression. In the blog ( the link below )  it says that “Only two years after his death, his family and colleagues established a foundation that held a yearly pop music competition that awarded scholarship to singer-songwriters. Yoo Jae-Ha Music Festival still goes on today; its past winners include influential K-pop artists like Yoo Hee-Yeol [유희열] and Cho Gyu-Chan [조규찬].”

Do you like the songs?  For me it was interesting to listen to these “unknown” Korean artist and to learn that some of them are/were actually very important and influential for the Korean music .
